some help needed :) 5 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Hey
I’m currently living in Wudang (Hubei) where I do little bit of this and that... :) the thing is that my Chinese speaking skill does not progress to much since last year of being here that’s why I like to move to Xian at the beginning of September 2012 to attend some language course/school for a 6 months... so the question is:
...what would be the best option for intense studying of mandarin in Xian (just to make it clear I’m not crazy enough to pay 5000 euro for International House :) ) if anyone can recommend something I’ll be really grateful....???
....also is there some way to find a accommodation with some Chinese people in Xian ..??????
...thanks to everyone who like to share their experience....
...may the force be with u :) ...

I think the best way for learning language is using Chinese language in your daily life. If you really want some systemic education for Chinese language, I suggest that you can go Confucius colleges in Xian. I attended Confucius College, Xi'an International Studies University three years ago and get big improvement in my Chinese language. The university offers short-term language courses and provides accommodation for international students. If you really want to live outside of campus and you can rent one apartment and Chinese landlords are very friendly to foreign students.
