Just so you know, ¡XABOO! is designed, maintained and funded by one person...myself. At the present time there is no outside help with any aspect of the site or it's maintenance and/or updating. All fees for it's hosting are paid out my pocket, because of my love for Xi'an and my passion for website development. With this site I'm able to combine the two worlds, and hopefully help, inspire and inform my visitors & members.

This comes at a price, however. Website hosting isn't necessarily cheap. A simple webpage with a few pictures can easily be handled by any one of a hundred free hosting sites, but they aren't equipped to handle heavy traffic and often don't include the extras that really make a mediocre site into something you'd want to return to. Basically...you get what you pay for. Since I wanted xiancommunity.com to have features not available elsewhere in Xi'an, I've opted to crack open the wallet and lay down my money.

By no means is it mandatory (or even suggested) that you do so...this is completely voluntary on your part....but it will be greatly appreciated!
